To eliminate OH&S risks associated with manual sampling, particularly the hazard of having personnel in the truck traffic area. To improve consistency of grain samples and achieve a more representative sample of the load.
Following consultation with our client, we supplied, installed and commissioned 1 x Samplex CS90 Bulk Grain Sampler at Mauri’s Moorooka site. Custom fabrication of the pipework was required due to the location of the sampler in relation to the sample hut. Being in a flood prone area, elevation of the equipment was also important.
Personnel are no longer required in the truck traffic area and the CS90 ensures sampling is no longer restricted to the top layer of the load. The custom pipework ensures steady flow of product, and strategic installation of the equipment at height minimizes risk during flood events.
