The use of the CS90 telescopic grain sampler now ensures a truly representative sample of grain, from top to bottom of every bulk load, as opposed to manual sampling processes which restricted sampling to the top layer of the load. The manual sampling process previously used was not a preferred option by the GTA.
The strategic positioning of the 2 x CS90’s also allows for a truly representative sample of the entire load without the need to reposition the truck during the sampling process. This has eliminated the risk of damage to equipment associated with the need to reposition transporters and has the additional benefit of further improving sampling speed.
“I have been involved in the introduction and use of the Samplex probes for over 10 years across various companies, and the CS90 system installed by McCabe Engineering has taken things to another level. It’s helped us align with GTA sampling requirements, strengthened our QA process, and removed OH&S risks. The equipment is excellent, but what really stands out is the service. Andrew has worked closely with us from planning through to commissioning and continues to provide excellent support.”
